I have a good friend named Lars (old ice hockey teamate at the University of New Mexico – the dude mashed me many times in practice!)…
Lars has a really cool company called GreenRope. GreenRope makes enterprise level customer relationship management available to smaller businesses (a man after my own heart on that).
Lars actually commissioned “Stronger Together” to be GreenRope’s anthem! The great thing about Lars is he said “I don’t need a jingle, I want you to just do you…maybe throw in the word ‘green'”. So I said “awesome – what are your core values?”
And what we ended up talking about is that connection is super important, and that at the end of the day, if you can take all this little strings and bind them up to create a rope, you’ve got something strong…
And what’s interesting is I wrote it, recorded it, and then right then the 2020 Olympics started airing, and their whole branding notion was we’re stronger together. Universal topic, I suppose – not necessarily new or original, but true and powerful. So that is “Stronger Together”!
